Bypass Continuous Oil Purification System test and service procedures: 1) For large trucks : First, monitor your fuel consumption to get an accurate average mpg. Then, at the regular oil change interval, using a clean container, take a first oil sample as you drain the oil. This is very important as you need a starting point for comparison. I understand there is a lab you can use. Also, the analysis will tell you what condition the oil is in at the regular oil change interval. It will also tell you what condition the engine is in and preventative maintenance can be performed to save unnecessary and costly breakdowns. Send us a copy of the analysis for our records. We will give you our opinion of the results. 2) Change oil filters (and the centrifugal oil filter as well if it has one). 3) Install the bypass oil filter housing (element should be installed), you will need to get the appropriate length of hoses and proper fittings. This varies from truck to truck and it depends on where the mechanic chooses to install the unit). Our technical advisors can provide consultation if required. 4) Add 1 qt of our HD Oil Stabilizer and 1 qt of the Super Lubricant to the crankcase. Top up with new oil. Run the engine for 15-20 minutes and check to make sure there are no leaks. Check the dipstick again as the bypass element will hold approximately 2 qts of oil. Top up if necessary.

Add the diesel fuel improver to the fuel tank at a ratio of 1/1000 but you may want to change the fuel filter after a few days or 1,000 mi as it will clean the fuel system. 5) At your next regular oil change interval, take a sample of the oil as before and repeat the oil analysis procedure. Send us a copy for our records and we will compare the results to the first analysis. Change the bypass filter ELEMENT ONLY and top up the oil in the crankcase. The regular OEM oil filters do not need changing. The truck is back on the road. Actually, this service can be performed on the road by the driver. Compare the oil analysis to the first one. You should see that the oil is in better condition than it was and the interval can be extended. 6) At the second regular oil change interval, (first extension, doubling oil life) repeat the oil sampling and analysis process. Send us a copy of the report. We both will scrutinize the report. You should be able to extend the oil change interval once more. Change the bypass filter ELEMENT ONLY and top up the oil in the crankcase. 7) At the third regular oil change interval, (second extension, tripling oil life) repeat the oil sampling and analysis process. Send us a copy of the report. We both will scrutinize the report. You should be able to extend the oil change interval once more. Change the bypass filter ELEMENT ONLY and top up the oil in the crankcase. 8) At the fourth regular oil change interval, (third extension, quadruple oil life) repeat the oil analysis process. Send us a copy of the report. We both will scrutinize the report. Change the oil and bypass filter element. The OEM filters should now be changed. Put 1 qt of HD Oil Stabilizer and 1 qt of Super Lubricant in the crankcase and top up with new oil. Add the second qt of 4 in 1 Diesel Fuel Treatment to the fuel tanks at a ratio of 1/1000 We look forward to hearing about your positive results. Eco-Tek Group Inc.
